Abidjan, the economic heart of Côte d'Ivoire, has been experiencing growing and sustained demographic pressure for several years. The capital alone is home to nearly a quarter of the population, the majority of whom are urban. This concentration of inhabitants naturally leads to an increase in real estate demand, which is struggling to be met. The result is an increase in the housing deficit, which is now estimated at +600,000 homes.
Access to housing remains a challenge for national economic development and a multiplication of real estate projects is observed in the various municipalities of the city.
Bingerville, a former historic colonial city, now one of the municipalities of Abidjan, is not on the fringes of this development. Its strategic location on the outskirts of the very popular town of Cocody, makes this town one of the new hubs for housing construction and one of the new privileged places to live for middle class populations.
This report presents accurate information on the preferences of buyers, the characteristics of demand by social classes, the construction hotspots, the League table of real estate promotions, the average price and the characteristics of buildings...
